Policies at Twiga Lodge and Campsite

Check-In and Check-Out:

  • Check-In: Guests are welcome to check in anytime. If you arrive earlier, we will do our best to accommodate you, but early check-in is subject to room availability.
  • Check-Out: Check-out time is 10:00 AM. Late check-out requests can be accommodated depending on availability and may incur an additional charge.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Standard Reservations: Cancellations made more than 7 days before the arrival date are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations within 7 days of arrival may incur a cancellation fee equivalent to one night’s stay. No-shows or same-day cancellations will be charged the full booking amount.
  • Group Bookings and Special Packages: Different cancellation policies may apply. Please refer to your booking confirmation or contact us directly for specific details.

Payment Policy:

  • We accept all major credit cards, mobile payments, and cash. A deposit may be required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. The balance is due upon check-in.
  • Currency: Payments are accepted in Tanzanian Shillings (TZS) or US Dollars (USD). Exchange rates may apply if paying in a different currency.

Pet Policy:

  • For the comfort of all our guests, pets are not allowed on the premises. Service animals are welcome; please inform us in advance if you will be bringing a service animal.

Smoking Policy:

  • Smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor areas, including rooms and common areas. Designated smoking areas are available outside for your convenience.

Child Policy:

  • Children of all ages are welcome. Children under 12 years old stay free when using existing bedding. Extra beds and cots are available upon request and subject to availability.

Safety and Security:

  • For the safety and comfort of all guests, please follow the lodge’s guidelines and staff instructions at all times. The lodge is monitored 24/7 by security personnel to ensure a safe environment.

Yes, we offer airport transfer services to and from Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and Arusha Airport (ARK). Please request this service in advance and provide your flight details.

We offer a variety of activities, including guided safaris, nature walks, cultural tours, and bird watching. Our staff can help you plan and book these activities to ensure you get the most out of your stay.

Meal plans vary depending on your booking. Options include full board (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), half board (breakfast and dinner), or room only. Our restaurant also offers à la carte dining for those who prefer flexibility.

Yes, we offer secure on-site parking free of charge for all guests. Our parking area is monitored 24/7 to ensure the safety of your vehicle.
